our wedding: the rehearsal dinner

When we first started venue hunting, one of the items high on our wish list was a venue that could serve as home base for all the activities of the weekend.  A venue that could host the rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception while still giving guests the illusion of a luxurious vacation.  When we visited The Parker in Palm Springs, the stars aligned.  So, in anticipation of sharing all the lovely details of the wedding with you quite soon, I'd like to share our Rehearsal Dinner.

Zach's Mother handled all the details and was the most gracious host.  It was a dream.

The Rehearsal Dinner was hosted in Palm Court, a lush, outdoor courtyard encircled by the desert's notorious palm trees. There was middle eastern music humming in the background, lights strung and the most decadent margaritas.

The night was filled with so much love.  Stories, testaments and hope for the future.  Zach even surprised me with a little speech just for me.  The evening continued with s'mores and cigars around the notorious Parker fire pit and it's needless to say, Zach and I enjoyed ourselves so much, we completely missed our pre-wedding bed time.

It was the perfect start to the perfect weekend!  I can't wait to finally share the big day, very, very, soon!
