NastyGal's Keep It Weird holiday gift guide is so awesome and so out there, I might have to nominate it for best brand hosted gift guide so far this season (J.Crew, I love you, but I've seen better). I'm all about unique holiday gifts and the picks below are nothing shy of extraordinary. So whether it be for your bestie, co-worker, sister, girlfriend (or you, cause holiday shopping usually ends that way), their gift guide will not disappoint! I have my eye on the Fashion and Art Collusion Box Set (wouldn't it be the perfect coffee table pop of color?) and the Perfect Destination Shot Glass Set (solely because they have a Palm Springs glass). I'm excited to hear, what's your favorite item?

the ultimate gift guide
It's the most wonderful time of the year! Which also means it's the most stressful. Pressure to find the perfect gift at the perfect price is always the source, so this year I thought I'd put together a gift guide that will help ease the stress that gift giving can bring and here it is in all of it's glory! The gift guide to end all gift guides, the ultimate gift guide for me, for him, for Mom and for Dad.
We all know I'm a lover of gold so it's only natural there would be a few gold pieces on my wish list this year. For me, Christmas is also an opportunity to get a few special items I wouldn't typically splurge on for myself. This year I added my favorite La Mer cream, the Chloe perfume I've had my eye (and nose) on and the Spotted Clare Vivier clutch I've had on my list since nearly last Christmas.
Mom is usually the easiest to shop for, I just buy her whatever I'd buy myself (in a color she'd like of course) but it's always important to find a few extra gifts with meaning. So while I'll make sure to check off some of her must have items I'll also be adding in a customized bracelet with our initials, a customized tray for backyard bonfires and maybe even a special necklace.
Lets face it, Dads are hard to shop for. I find it's better not to mess around much when it comes to shopping for Dad. Stick with what you know by helping him stock up on a few of the items you know he'll always use - golf goods (how cool is this flask & tee set), car washing essentials, wine openers and lets face it, all Dads have at least one ugly sweater that needs replacing. Oh and guess what? The boat shoes he's been wearing for thirty years are back in style so go ahead and buy him a fresh pair. As for a bigger ticket item, I know an iPad is on my Dad's list for nights when he's at the station, we'll see about that one though!
I'd love to hear (and see!) what's on your holiday lists! Happy Shopping and may you be the best giver this year!

friday favorites: black friday edition
It's the most wonderful time of the year! I don't know about you but Black Friday has absolutely no in-store appeal to me. Fighting for items, long lines, not to mention congested parking lots - it's too much for this girl to handle when there are just as many great deals online! Plus, you get the added bonus of packages arriving daily.
To celebrate the season of giving (and all the great Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals) I thought it only appropriate that this week's favorites include a few of the best online deals!

holiday gift guide: cheap thrills
I never have a shortage of fun little items on my wish list, so with the holidays sneaking up on us all, I thought it only fair to share my recent cheap thrills. The best part? All of the items included are under $50! Win, win if you ask me. Fun, thoughtful, unique gifts and no one will be the wiser that you scored a deal! Happy shopping!

currently coveting: gold for the holidays
The only thing I love more than gold is Christmas, so to prepare for the convergence of my two favorite things, I've been stocking up on a few gold goodies for the holidays. All of the items above are less than $40!
(I threw in a few extras below too!)

currently coveting: holiday cards
Now that Halloween is behind us and we're a mere 50 days out from Christmas (thats right, I'm counting!) I feel perfectly free letting my Christmas freak-flag fly! I'm so beyond excited for the season of giving, I thought I'd kick off the season with a few holiday cards I have my eye on. I love thinking outside of the box and spreading the holiday cheer in unconventional ways and right now, these are on my radar.
