With Valentines Day around the corner, a girl can't help but day dream about checking an item (or two) off her wish list. You know, the items you wouldn't typically get yourself! Here are some of the items I'd (secretly) love to receive:

Beyonce's X rated performance at the Grammy's got me thinking that I hadn't done a rug post lately. Now one may think, how does one align rugs and Beyonce? Well, as I've mentioned before, I've acquired quite the taste for vintage rugs and every time I add another to my list, I ceremoniously sing a little Bey Bey, "uh uh oh…" A few lyrical liberties later and what do you know, I've replaced "ring" with"rug" and have written my own little fairy tale and aforementioned rugs become the shining stars. Tales like a clean, bright space filled with mis-matched rugs. A super traditional (and dream!) kitchen with a little cherry on top. The most perfect little nursery I ever did see. And last, but not least, a moody bedroom with a pop of navajo funk. I mean…If you like it then you…Should probably put a pin on it.

When I saw the Leith Clark collection, I couldn't help but start thinking about another pair. Unmistakably feminine and whimsy, the collection is ultra-ladylike and spirited - the perfect accent to any day (outfit, or mood for that matter).
And as if that wasn't enough, Warby Parker not only distributes a pair to someone in need with each purchase, a percentage from each sale of the Leith Clark collection will go to Girl Up, a United Nations Foundation Campaign to provide life-changing opportunities to girls around the world.

I'm on a nail polish kick that just won't end. I tend to stick to neutrals but do what I can to spice it up a bit per to the season. Remember my fall nail picks? Well with the holidays in full swing, I thought I'd share my favorite colors for the holidays. Deep oxblood, classic red, winter white and metallics are my go-to's and have found that if you use this base and top coat, you can expect a solid week's wear!
